Dosage: usual adult dose: one rounded teaspoon (5.8 g) into a 250 ml (8 oz) glass of cool liquid up to 3 times daily. Children (6-12 years): ½ the adult dose in a 250 ml (8 oz) glass of cool liquid up to 3 times daily. New users: start by taking 1 dose each day. Gradually increase to 3 doses per day if needed or recommended by your doctor.
Directions for use: at the first sign of constipation stir briskly and drink the recommended dose immediately. Maintain adequate fluid intake. Generally takes effect in 12-72 hours. Take 2 hours before or after taking other medication.
