CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS: Consult a health care practitioner if insomnia persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia). Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking carbidopa or medications/supplements with serotonergic activity, including L-tryptophan, S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), St. John's wort, antidepressants, pain medications, over-the-counter cough and cold products containing dextromethorphan, and medications for nausea and migraine. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience weakness, oral ulcers, abdominal pain accompanied by severe muscle pain, or if you notice changes in your skin. Consult a health care practitioner if you have a cardiovascular disorder or diabetes. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking medications for heart conditions or blood pressure.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use if you have scleroderma. KNOWN ADVERSE REACTIONS: Discontinue use if hypersensitivity/allergy occurs. Some individuals may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution when operating heavy machinery or any motorized vehicle, or when engaging in activities requiring mental alertness. Some individuals may experience diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain.
