Getting to know your humidifier
The Vicks Filtered Cool Moisture Humidifier uses evaporative technology to naturally humidify the air for maximum comfort. Dry room air is pulled into the humidifier through the wicking filter, where it absorbs moisture and any minerals that may be present in the water. The fan blows air through the saturated filter which helps produce soothing, invisible moisture. The self-regulating evaporative technology prevents over humidification and distributes the right amount of humidity where you need it most. With filtered technology, the humidifier adjusts moisture output to the amount of moisture the air can hold. The drier (less humid) the air in the room, the more moisture the humidifier will add to the air.
Filtered technology
This humidifier works with the Protec® Extended Life Humidifier Filter to release clean moisture into the air. The filter helps prevents "white dust" witch unfiltered humidifiers can release if operated in hard water areas. The filter helps captures these minerals and other impurities from the water, before the moisture is released into the air. The Protec antimicrobial layers also help prevent the growth and migration of mould, algae and bacteria on the filter.
