Dosage: Adults: Take 1-3 lozenges daily, as needed. Let dissolve slowly in the mouth every 1 - 2 hours. Take at the first sign of infection. Take with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 8 weeks. Zinc supplementation can cause a copper deficiency. If you are unsure whether you are taking enough copper, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and/or HIV infection or an auto-immune disorder, if you are taking medications to suppress the immune system. Stop use and consult health care practitioner if sore throat symptoms worsen or persist for more than 2 days or if hypersensitivity/allergy occurs.
