Recommended dose: adults: 1-2 tablets daily, before bedtime. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks. Jet lag: do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. Take one a day at bedtime after darkness has fallen, while travelling, and at destination until adaption to the new daily pattern has occured. Sleep restriction/altered sleep schedule; delayed sleep phase disorder; sleep awake cycle: do not drive or use machiner for 5 hours after taking melatonin.
CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS: Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking the following medications: anticoagulant, anticonvulsant, blood pressure medications, immunosupressive medications, sedative, hypnotic or psychotrophic medications, or steroids. Consult a heatlhcare practitioner prior to use if you have: asthma, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, depression, diabetes or hypoglycaemia, hormonal disorder, immune system disease, liver disease, migraine, or seizure disorder.
