Dosage: Adults (18 years and older): Take 1 to 2 capsules once a day, at or before bedtime.

Do not use if you are pregnant or if breastfeeding, or if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other salicylates. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks or if sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks or if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner before use if you are taking medications for seizure, blood pressure, to suppress the immune system (immunosuppressive medications), to affect mental state or increase sedation, steroids or blood thinners, or if you have cardiovascular, immune, liver or chronic kidney disease, hormonal or seizure disorders, asthma, depression, diabetes, low blood sugar, or migraine. Consult a health care practitioner before use if you have gallstones, a bile duct obstruction, stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid, asthma or peptic ulcer disease or if you are taking anticoagulants or products containing acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other salicylates. Consult a health care practitioner before use if you are taking any other medications or natural health products, as black pepper/piperine may alter their effectiveness. Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. Some people may experience gastrointestinal discomfort. Stop use if allergy occurs or if you experience headache, confusion, or nausea.
