- mix 17 g (one pouch) into a cup of water, juice, soda, coffee or tea until completely dissolved, then drink
- do not take more than 17 g per day
- do not use for more than 7 days

- have a known or suspected bowel obstruction
- have kidney disease, unless directed by a doctor
- are allergic to polyethylene glycol

- are taking starch-based food thickeners for a swallowing problem. LAX-A-DAY may reduce the thickening effect of these products, which increases the risk of choking
- have, fever, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloating, any medical conditions
- are, pregnant or breastfeeding, thinking about becoming pregnant
WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT
- do not take within 2 hours of another medicine as the desired effect of the other medicine may be reduced
- if you are elderly, stop use and contact a physician immediately if you experience diarrhea
- frequent or prolonged use may result in dependence on laxatives
- nausea, abdominal bloating, cramping or flatulence, diarrhea and excessive stool frequency might occur. If severe, stop use and contact a doctor.
- it may take up to 2 to 4 days for you to have a bowel movement
