Directions: Put into empty glass and mix with 240 mL water or other cool liquids. Stir briskly and drink promptly.
Do not interrupt medication.
For adults only: 2 packets (11.6 g) in 240 mL liquid with meals, up to 3 times daily. For occasional use only.
For cholesterol lowering and heart health* for adults only: one packet (5.8 g) in 240 mL liquid 3 times daily. For best results in lowering cholesterol, take metamucil with a meal.
For fibre supplementation or relief of irregularity start by taking 1 serving each day. As your body adjusts to increased fibre intake, gradually increase to 3 servings per day. Generally takes effect in 12-72 hours. Adults and children over 12: one packet (5.8 g) in 240 mL liquid up to 3 times daily. Children (6-12 years): ½ packet (2.9 g) in 240 mL liquid up to 3 times daily. Children under 6 years: Do not use.
