Directions: Put powder into empty glass and mix with 240 mL water or other cool liquid. Stir briskly and drink promptly. Do not interrupt medication.

For Adults Only: 2 rounded teaspoons (11.6 g) or 6 level teaspoons (11.6 g) in 240 mL liquid with meals, up to 3 times daily. For occasional use only.
For cholesterol lowering and hearth health
For Adults Only: One rounded teaspoon (5.8 g) or three level teaspoons (5.8 g) in 240 mL liquid 3 times daily. For best results in lowering cholesterol, take metamucil with a meal.
For fibre supplementation or relief of irregularity
Start by taking 1 serving each day. As your body adjusts to increased fibre intake, gradually increase to 3 servings per day. Generally takes effect in 12-72 hours.
Adults and Children Over 12: One rounded teaspoon (5.8 g) or three level teaspoons (5.8 g) in 240 mL liquid up to 3 times daily.
Children (6-12 years): ½ the adult serving (6 g) in 240 mL liquid up to 3 times daily.
Children under 6 years: do not use.
Store at room temperature tightly closed to protect from humidity.
