Wellness through posture
A healthy upper body posture is essential when lying down. The Symbia 18° was developed to maximize comfort and wellness for people who would need or benefit from sleeping inclined. The innovative design and composition of this posture cushion provide an angle that maximizes back relief while helping with digestion and breathing.
Composition
Our washable knitted cover is made of bamboo viscose and polyester. It is antibacterial, hypoallergenic and thermoregulating. All Orthex foams are CertiPUR-US certified. This posture cushion is constructed with two foam types: a high-performance gel-infused memory foam for comfort and pressure relief and a high-density polyurethane foam base for support. Foam discolouration caused by UV light, oxidation and temperature may occur but is normal and will not affect the durability of your posture cushion. A non-toxic odour may be present at first, but this is normal and will fade quickly.

Use
Align the waist line with the base (corner) of the Symbia 18°. This posture cushion is designed to provide full back support and restorative body inclination. The use of a pillow is recommended if one wants to increase cervical support. Sliding due to body movements and the inclination may occur during the usual adaptation period, which varies from two to three weeks.
Care
Our bamboo viscose cover is machine washable, in cold water. It is recommended to lay the cover flat to dry. Do not bleach, iron or tumble dry. The zipper should always be aligned with the back edge of the foam structure. Additional covers can be ordered directly from Orthex, through customer service.
