INSTRUCTIONS :
The MANIC PANIC®/ FLASH LIGHTNING® bleach kit was designed for pre-lightening hair before using MANIC PANIC® cream semi-permanent hair colors. Everything you need to lighten your hair is in this kit. Please follow the instructions carefully. Tish and Snooky strongly recommend doing a strand test prior to application. (Take one strand of hair and follow instructions.)

PREPARATIONS :
1. Wearing the enclosed gloves, open the bleach plastic bag. Avoid inhaling powder.
2. Empty full contents of bleach powder into the provided tub.
3. Gradually add the developer to the bleach powder in the tub. Using the brush, blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Sometimes it is not necessary to use all contents of developer.
4. Apply mixture immediately. Do not wait a long time.

APPLICATION :
Hair should be dry and unwashed. Using the provided brush, apply the bleach mixture evenly to hair you wish bleached. All strands should be saturated using the brush or gloved fingers to spread the mixture evenly. You may mask hair you don't wish to bleach by using a highlight cap or foil.

DEVELOPING :
Lightening time depends on the color and condition of the hair. The darker the hair, the longer the processing time. Most hair processes within 20-50 minutes. Check product at regular intervals during the development process by removing some product with a damp paper towel. Be sure to check progress every 5-10 minutes thereafter to avoid over processing. Do not process longer than 50 minutes. Do not apply heat.

REMOVAL:
When desired shade is reached, remove cap or foils and throw away. Shampoo hair thoroughly several times to ensure the bleach is completely removed. Rinse thoroughly and towel dry hair.

CAUTION :
Read all instructions carefully before using this product. Only use as directed. This product contains persulfates, alkalis and other ingredients, which may cause serious irritation, respiratory and/or allergic reactions. Contains hydrogen peroxide that may cause severe skin irritation to skin or eyes. Prepare and use product in areas with adequate ventilation. Do not inhale or ingest product. If taken internally call physician, hospital or poison control center immediately and induce vomiting ONLY if recommended by qualified medical personnel. Always wear suitable gloves. Avoid contact with clothing, skin or eyes. In case of contact with clothing, skin or eyes flush immediately with water and seek medical attention as required. Do not use if you or your client have had a reaction to lightening (bleach) products in the past. Do not use on eyebrows or lashes as this may cause blindness. Do not use on beard, mustache or other body hair. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using product. Always wash hands thoroughly before doing these activities. Do not apply mixture directly to the scalp or if scalp or adjacent areas are irritated, and remove product immediately if itching or burning occurs, seek medical attention as required. Use only non-metallic bowls and utensils. Do not use over metal dyes or damaged hair. Point bottle away from face when opening and replace and tighten cap when not in use. Do not dispose of product or product mixtures in trash as doing so may result in fire. Dispose of unused product or product mixtures in accordance with local/applicable regulations. Do not return unused product to container. Store in cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Product should not be used on persons under the age of sixteen (16).

Bleach powder : potassium persulfate, ammonium persulfate, sodium metasilicate, sodium stearate, silica, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, xanthan gum, disodium EDTA, sodium lauryl sulfate, hydrated silica.

Developer : deionized water, hydrogen peroxide, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, trideceth-2 carboxamide MEA, sodium stannate, phosphoric acid.
